Stewart Gordon lives in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and started to tie flies at the age of 14, thanks to the generosity and support of his parents. By the time he was 15 he was tying commercially to help pay for all his fishing gear!
Eventually with all that tying experience his career led him to work at two major fly tying wholesale warehouses as a shipper, receiver and quality control of fly tying materials and flies.
He has had several articles published in both Canadian and American magazines, as well as patterns in the Canadian Fly Encyclopedia. He was also selected from numerous applicants to have a fly of the month in FlyTying Journal.
The beautiful stillwaters of British Columbia have contributed to his passion of fly tying and angling.
