Rich Culver resides in Juneau, Alaska, where he lives a life surrounded by fly-fishing. A writer, photographer, and instructor of fly-fishing, Rich is widely known in the fly-fishing community for his feature stories, lectures and presentations, technical articles, research and design contributions and his innovative fly tying and field-proven fly patterns. Over the last twenty years he has focused his fly-fishing efforts on salmon and steelhead, pursuing them throughout the coastal rivers and streams of Northern California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia, and in the past decade, the island chain waters of Southeast Alaska. Rich's patterns have taken every fresh water game fish in the state of Alaska including several IGFA line records.
