In memoriam: Jack Samson penned 23 books on flyfishing. He held the world record for roosterfish on-the-fly. He caught both Atlantic and Pacific sailfish and 5 species of marlin on a fly. He was awarded the 1996 IGFA Conservation Award and was a special correspondent for Saltwater Fly Fishing as well as editor in chief for Field & Stream. He is greatly missed.
