Born on a Pennsylvania farm, Tim King spent his early years fishing for largemouth bass in the local ponds, and everything else on the nearby Delaware River. He began tying his own bass flies at the age of twelve. College brought him west in his early twenties, and he immediately fell in love with the mountain streams and the trout that came with them. Having tied flies for the past 40 years, be believes there is still plenty to learn in the fascinating world of fly tying, and takes every opportunity to learn more tricks of the trade, and share them with others. Tim lives in Providence, Utah, with his wife and twin daughters.
